The NECC Observer is the award-winning student run newspaper that covers the Haverhill and Lawrence campuses of Northern Essex Community College. It has won multiple awards for its print version of the newspaper, and in September 2014 the NECC Observer launched its online news site.
The Observer serves as the independent voice of the students, faculty and staff to report news and events of the community. It is a member of the Associated Collegiate Press and the New England Press Association. It also serves as a public forum for the NECC community. Views expressed in the Observer are neither representative of NECC’s views, nor that of the Observer staff as a whole.
